The STSC1 is proving once again that high measurement accuracy can be combined with an extremely attractive price-performance ratio. The latest generation of temperature sensors features high accuracy, low power consumption and minimal size.
The STSC1 focuses on applications that require very precise temperature measurement. It is suitable for consumer electronics, Internet of Things and smart home applications, as well as for data loggers and thermostats. With compact dimensions of just 2.0 x 2.0 x 0.7mm, low power consumption and supply voltage of 1.8 volts, it clearly fulfills industry requirements. In addition to its easy handling, the STSC1 provides a fully calibrated and linearized digital signal to a microcontroller.
Its good genes are also apparent in its application: the STSC1 measures temperatures from -40 °C to 125 °C with a typical accuracy of +/- 0.3 °C. The fully calibrated sensor features an I²C interface and is reflow-solderable. It is suitable for standardized industrial series production of electronic devices and can be successfully integrated into complex applications.
