Sensirion Students TechDay
Sensirion Students TechDay will return on October 27th 2020. The event will take place at the Sensirion headquarters in Staefa, Zurich. Several students will join our experienced specialists for a day and dive into the world of sensor technology by tackling complex challenges using creativity and technical know-how.
Sensirion is constantly striving to integrate new technologies into its existing products and to develop new sensor solutions within its core competencies. The aim of the Students TechDay is to develop an idea for a sensor and to create a business model canvas for it. The students work in a team supported by experienced engineers and present their ideas to a selected audience.
The company presentation as well as the tour of the Sensirion headquarters provides them with the information needed for the project. During the networking reception, the opportunity is given to learn more about Sensirion and career opportunities. Further information will follow at a later date.
Due to the current situation regarding COVID-19, the TechDay will take place on a smaller scale. All necessary safety precautions recommended by the BAG will be taken into account. Participants will receive more detailed information after registration for the Event.

If you like hot showers, you know the issue of a completely fogged mirror after leaving the shower. There are heated mirrors available, but they heat constantly and therefore waste a lot of energy. With a humidity sensor the heating can be automated and therefore energy consumption can be drastically reduced. Explore now.
With industry 4.0 advances in process automation and smart facility- and quality management, companies have the distinct advantage of being able to analyze their factories’ air quality parameters in real-time. Dust, fumes, VOCs and humidity fluctuations impact industrial manufacturing processes and workers' productivity and health. The increasing digitization of factories and industrial processes allows them to monitor and correlate air quality data with production events to improve output. Explore now.
