Julian Kleber studied microsystems engineering at the University of Freiburg. He first got to know Sensirion during his bachelor’s as part of an excursion. After completing his degree in 2014, Julian had the opportunity to launch his career at the high-tech company, with a position in process engineering.
As a process engineer in the field of environmental sensing, Julian has since been responsible for designing and developing new processes required for high-volume production of Sensirion’s environmental sensors. Julian defines process requirements and coordinates their implementation with his various counterparts from the production and product and technology development (software, hardware, automation) departments. He spends most of his working day on data analysis and computer programming. Julian is proud that he has succeeded in
developing a few processes himself. One additional highlight of his job has been the chance to work on the process development for Sensirion’s new multipixel gas sensor.
Julian is particularly happy with his team at Sensirion. He works with motivated and highly committed colleagues, who are prepared to accomplish extraordinary things every day.
“Sensirion has a very open and friendly working atmosphere. The morale in the team is very good.”
Julian also loves the company’s location in Stäfa, thanks to the many recreational opportunities afforded by the proximity to Lake Zurich and the mountains.
