Climate management in the lecture hall

Climate management through the use of smart home applications optimizes our daily comfort and has a positive impact on our health. Furtwangen University is working together with Sensirion on a climate management system for lecture halls. Sensors measure the ambient temperature and humidity in the room in order to determine the indoor air quality. The data is sent to a smartphone and managed in a cloud service solution. The data can be called up at any time and used to regulate the climate in the room; for example, through an automated window ventilation system.
