A 'red carpet' was rolled out for the entire staff and the high-tech company's management team personally greeted all colleagues and handed out croissants for breakfast.

In the employee satisfaction questionnaire, Sensirion achieved an exceptional trust index of 89%. We would like to first and foremost thank our employees, whose fair and honest teamwork and exceptional performance contributes to our culture on a daily basis, thus enabling us to be a leader in innovation.
What characterizes the corporate culture at Sensirion?
We have an open and friendly working atmosphere. Respect, appreciation and individual responsibility play a key role in our corporate culture. We have a flat hierarchical structure where processes are non-bureaucratic, the doors are always open and there is a lively exchange between employees. We place a high value on team spirit and collaboration. This is shown clearly every Friday at a quarter to five, when we meet on the roof terrace with a view of the lake for a beer.
How does Sensirion maintain its company culture despite rapid growth?
What began nearly 20 years ago as an ETH spin-off has grown into a company with more than 600 employees. Of course, much has changed over the years, but one thing has always stayed the same at Sensirion: our employees’ passion for developing innovative products. This is what drives us forward and makes Sensirion the global market leader in sensor technology. To ensure our company culture is able to keep pace with the changes in growth, all employees are called on to actively contribute by critically questioning developments. In recent years, Sensirion has also invested a great deal in the maintenance and development of company values and culture, and will continue to do so in the future. For example, the company organizes culture workshops for all the staff, the annual company weekend and countless social events.
