A look back: Sensirion @ electronica 2016
At the electronica 2016 in Munich, Germany, we made a lot of new and interesting contacts and strengthened relationships with existing customers. In addition to numerous enhanced and new sensor solutions, Sensirion’s environmental sensors and new SDP3x differential pressure sensors were a special focus at the fair. Visitors had the opportunity to learn more about environmental sensing and got an exclusive peek at upcoming technologies from Sensirion, such as the multi-pixel gas sensor for measuring volatile organic compounds (VOCs), the PM2.5 sensor for measuring particulate matter, and the CO2 sensor.
These environmental sensor solutions also include Sensirion’s humidity and temperature sensors, which have already been used over a million times in various markets. The SHTW2 ultra-small digital humidity sensor, which measures a mere 1.3 x 0.7 x 0.5 mm3, is part of the latest generation. Thanks to flip-chip technology, the SHTW2 provides an unprecedented price-performance ratio, and its tiny size means that it can be used in a broad variety of applications. You can learn more about the SHTW2 humidity sensor in the interview with Vincent Hess, Senior Product Manager at Sensirion.
