Indoor Air Quality
Some of the polluted air we breathe is not only found outdoors, but also indoors. From dust to formaldehyde to VOCs, invisible elements and particulate matter inside our homes and offices can cause health issues and limit our cognitive abilities. Recent scientific studies have also shown that there is a link between COVID-19 cases and low humidity and/or high levels of air pollution. Furthermore, high CO2 concentrations in enclosed spaces correlate with the risk of virus infection.
To improve the air quality, it is important to know the exact air quality conditions. Sensirion’s environmental sensor solutions enable precise and accurate monitoring of these air quality indicators.
Hydrogen is a key element in the energy revolution. It will play an essential role in the expansion of renewable energies and the achievement of global climate protection goals. The use of renewable gases, such as sustainably produced hydrogen or admixtures of renewable gases with natural gas, presents great opportunities for sustainably reducing CO2 emissions in different applications.
Using hydrogen for energy storage and distribution requires adaption of the existing gas infrastructure and close monitoring for safety and performance reasons. The required flexibility in the gas composition poses a major challenge to the industry if the infrastructure is to run optimally and efficiently. Sensirion’s sensor technology can handle this broad requirement and is thus an ideal solution for your future products.
